Call for Nominations for Editors of IEEE Systems Journal (ISJ)

IEEE Systems Journal is the flagship journal of the IEEE Systems Council, focusing on the system-level research. The collaboration between IEEE ComSoc TCGCC and IEEE Systems Journal will have mutual benefits for both entities. IEEE Systems Journal has impact factor 5.28 and ranked in JCR Q1.

The journal is created to provide a systems-level focused forum for application-oriented manuscripts that address complex systems and system-of-systems of national and global significance. It is intended to encourage and facilitate cooperation and interaction among IEEE societies, and other professional societies, with systems-level and systems engineering interest.

Nominations should include:

  • Name of candidate and nominator (self-nominations are acceptable).
  • A brief biography of the nominee of no more than one page with: (i) relevant research activities that are directly aligned with the scope of the journal; and (ii) the contributions/involvement in TCGCC
  • The candidate’s 2-page CV with relevant publication lists, editorial and review activities, and a list of up to 6-8 keywords that the candidate can handle for IEEE Systems Journal
  • The elements of the nomination package should be combined as a single PDF file with the nominee’s CV appended at the end

Call for Nominations for Editors of the journal DCN (Digital Communications and Networks)

DCN publishes quarterly in partnership with ScienceDirect (Elsevier), KeAi Publishing (Science Press) and Chongqing University of Post and Telecommunications, China. DCN is an open access journal in the field of Communications, Networks, Computing, Services and Applications without any publication fee. One of the objectives of the journal is to be the prime reference on the communication systems, networks, services and applications. The journal is indexed by Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) and Scopus. DCN has impact factor 5.382 and ranked in JCR Q1. DCN is also ranked 4th in the field of “Telecommunications” in Web of Science.

Call for Nomination for TCGCC Awards

We invite the nominations of IEEE ComSoc TCGCC Service and Researcher Awards for the year of 2020. In particular, we are calling for three types of awards: TCGCC Distinguished Technical Achievement Recognition Award, TCGCC Distinguished Service Award, and TCGCC Outstanding Young Researcher Award. For these awards, nomination will be solicited from the TCGCC members annually.
